"A little bit of Berkeley, a little bit of Santa Cruz, and something in between"
WHITE RABBIT BOUTIQUE

White Rabbit Boutique is the kind of store people dream about having close, so they don't
have to travel to Santa Cruz, Berkeley, or exotic ports to get the wonderful goods available
right on Main Street, Martinez.

Owner Anne Mobley has been getting ready to be a shop owner since she was a little girl
organizing spices, cereals, boxed goods, etc. in the kitchen at her parents' San Francisco
home; pretending she was a store clerk, adding up make believe purchases.

But it wasn't until she opened White Rabbit in Gardnerville, Nevada, in 2004, that she
became a merchant, while still working in her other career as a secretary in the public
sector. Her retirement enabled her to indulge her passion full time in Martinez' downtown.
That passion got White Rabbit Boutique voted "Best Place to Find a Unique Gift in
Pleasant Hill and Martinez."

Now Anne runs a shop people come into to feel better when they're blue and find
everything from just cool stuff to the beautiful and exotic, including trendy junior, women
and plus size clothing; men's Ts & Hawaiian shirts; unisex tie-dye Ts; jewelry; accessories;
belly dance clothing; incense; oils; soy candles; Tibetan prayer flags & wheels; Buddhas;
singing bowls; sobriety/recovery/birthday chips for those in recovery; red hat lady items,
crosses; angels, home décor including skull, dragon, and tribal; Gothic dolls; fairies;
Wiccan supplies; Tarot cards; daggers; greeting cards; AA and NA Recovery Chips, and
more.

But regardless of all this bounty, a lot of people come in just to see Anne as well, to bask
in her warmth, friendliness, and sense of humor.

Look for the purple awning!
